You’ve spent a lot of time and money on putting your vision together. But now you need to get it out there for the world to see. Whether that be film festivals, private screenings, or a theatrical release, it’s important to make sure that your vision is preserved. We can help.
Theaters and festivals these days usually have converted from film to digital projection. While many can, and will, play Blu-ray Disks, this means compressing your audio, limiting your resolution, and changing your color and frame rate to what works for a Blu-ray Disk.
Digital cinema has made possible consistent high quality distribution of your finished work to viewers around the world. DCPs are how that gets done. A DCP, or Digital Cinema Package, is a format for transporting your audio, video, and subtitles that theaters around the world can playback without issue. It supports uncompressed audio, including hearing assist and descriptive narration, high resolution video, and a wider range of colors than Blu-ray Disk.
You made your movie, make sure the public gets to see your vision the way you intended.
